Wife of the Nigerian President, Aisha Buhari today flew out of Abuja for London to be with her husband who has been on medical vacation since May 7.

According to a statement from her media aide, Bisi Olumide-Ajayi, Aisha at her departure expressed utmost gratitude to millions of Nigerians who have been praying for her husband’s speedy recovery and safe return.

“The wife of the president, Her Excellency, Mrs. Aisha Buhari today left for the United Kingdom. Her Excellency will spend some time with her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari, who is presently on medical vacation,” the statement said.

“She expressed her appreciation to the millions of Nigerians who have been praying for his quick and safe return,” it added.
