Mr. Silvester Ibeh is a highly resourceful and unassuming gentlemen. He is a philanthropist, an international business strategist, a security expert, a man of transparent honesty, a dynamic tactician, a diligent worker, an indefatigable achiever, a lover of truth, a marketing strategist and a strategic planner. He is an experienced security practitioner who has enjoyed over 27 years of a successful and rewarding career within the Security Industry.

He was the Regional Security Coordinator in one of the major oil and gas companies in Nigeria (S/W), with the responsibility of ensuring adequate security for the organization’s staff and business assets within the region, development of security policies, procedures and plans in consultation with all the business segments; preparation of country security assessments and advice on local management of security matters.

A graduate of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, Silvester has postgraduate qualifications. He is a man who is not only born to lead, but he is also an eagle in the private world. His administrative sagacity is never in doubt.

He has a proven ability to turn virtually all he touches to gold. He is directly involved in providing professional security management/training and other professional services to clients throughout Nigeria and also oversees the fastest growing security service company in Nigeria, Cardinal Security Services Limited.

He understands the dynamics of the security sector especially how to interpret and match clients’ needs. Silvester is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Directors and Fellow of Association of Corporate Governance Professionals Nigeria. He is also a Chartered Security Professional of the International Center for Executive Security Training.

He is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). He is a qualified Company Security Officer (ISPS—International Ship and Port Security Certification), Member, TAN; and a member of Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC). He has studied extensively abroad under SIA and attended training in Advanced Executive Protection (PSD)—Training Designed for Operating in Hostile Environments in the United States of America. He is an ASP in SPY Police having completed training with the Nigerian Police Force at the Police Training School, Ikeja and having been granted a SPY Police Certificate.

He attended training on the Advanced Company Direction Programme (ACDP 5) organized by the Nigerian Institute of Directors in London, UK.

It is in recognition of his contribution to national development in the field of Corporate and Private Security Services that Mr. Silvester Ibeh is deemed worthy to be conferred with the Development In Nigeria Merit Award which is part of the 2017 PSR National Awards.
