A former Chairman of the Lagos State Sports Commission and Special Adviser to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Sports, Deji Tinubu is dead.
Tinubu, who was moved from the Sports Commission during a recent cabinet reshuffle slumped and died on Thursday while playing football at a retreat organized by the Lagos State Government for State Executive Council members and top government functionaries in Epe, Lagos State.
He was reportedly rushed to the Epe General Hospital where he was confirmed dead.
