The Bauchi State chapter of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association has endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari as their candidate in the 2019 presidential elections.

 

Garba Saleh, the Bauchi State Chairman of the Association made the disclosure in his opening speech when over 5,000 representatives of cattle breeders across the country gathered in the state to express their solidarity.

 

Saleh said having justified the mandate given to them by Nigerians in 2015, President Buhari and the Bauchi State Governor, Muhammed Abubakar should be supported for re-election in 2019.

 

“We want the President and Bauchi State Governor to continue the good work they started, especially on the fight against insecurity and improving the economy,” Saleh said.

 

While thanking President Buhari for appointing many Bauchi sons into his cabinet, the group also called on Governor Abubakar to intensify efforts towards the exploration for crude oil in the state.
