A former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has claimed that the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressive Congress (APC) is the most corrupt and incompetent government since 1999.

Atiku stated this while addressing a mammoth crowd of supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at an enlarged meeting of the party held at the party’s secretariat in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital.

The former Vice President lamented that Nigerians had suffered so much injustice and pains since the emergence of the Buhari-led administration, including wanton killings of innocent Nigerians by herdsmen.

He also revealed that over 11 million Nigerians had lost their jobs during the Buhari  administration, calling on well meaning Nigerians to support his presidential ambition and the PDP in other to oust Buhari and the APC in the forthcoming 2019 election”.

“You know that this present All Progressives Congress federal government is the most corrupt and incompetent government I have ever seen since 1999,” Atiku said.

He also stated the readiness of PDP to ensure that the APC- led administration is kicked out in 2019, calling on the political stakeholders of PDP to move out and reclaim Imo and Anambra states which were currently being ruled by APC and APGA respectively.

Responding, the Ebonyi State governor, Chief David Umahi who is also the chairman of the Southeast Governors’ Forum said the state would support any presidential candidate that had the interest of the zone at heart.
