The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola has urged the people of South-West to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election bid in 2019 to guarantee a return of power to the region in 2023.
The minister stated this on Thursday while speaking at a special Town Hall Meeting on infrastructure organized by the Ministry of Information and Culture and the National Orientation Agency (NOA).

He added: “A vote for Buhari in 2019 means a return of power to the South West in 2023. I am sure you will vote wisely.”
On the performance of the current administration, Fashola said that the government had kept its promises to Nigerians in the three key throngs of security, fighting corruption and rebuilding the economy.
He furter disclosed that no fewer than 67 road projects were ongoing in the South West region of the country. He said the road projects included 19 in Lagos State, 14 in Oyo, 12 in Osun with nine in Ogun and Ondo states respectively.
