Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai says nothing can stop him from being re-elected in 2019.
The governor who made this claim while speaking as the Special Guest of Honour at the 2018 National Council on Finance and Economic Development (NACOFED) conference on Monday said his achievements so far give him an edge over any governorship aspirant in the state.
According to El-Rufai, Kaduna State has witnessed tremendous development because of his resolve to introduce far-reaching reforms in many sectors despite the associated risks.
He maintained that the people of the state had confidence in his leadership abilities and wanted him to continue, stressing that his immediate and utmost priority was to put the state on the right track and sound footing.
“From all indications, because we are very scientific, the election on March 2, 2019 as far as Kaduna State is concerned is almost a done deal,” he said.
