Mrs. Bolanle Olubusola Ojo is the Head of School of Satrop Schools, Lekki, Lagos. She is highly resourceful and impactful and she is the core of the wisdom behind the school. She has carved a niche for herself in the area of delivery of quality education and child development.
She started her career as a nursery teacher many years ago with Owosamson Memorial Nursery and Primary school where she developed great interest in teaching, child care and child development. She has passion for education and sees education as a ministry, a calling and a service to humanity. She also worked as a volunteer in her children’s schools in the early years of her career because she is so passionate about children and education.
Bolanle Olubusola Ojo had her early education in Nigeria. She attended Ikosi Primary and Secondary Schools both in Ketu, Lagos State. She later bagged her first degree in Microbiology from the University of Ilorin . She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Science and Technology, University of Ilorin Chapter. She later studied Education at the National Open University.
She is a very detailed person and she is an advocate of excellence because she believes that anything worth doing at all is worth doing well. She believes life itself is a teacher and that we are in a state of constant learning. She also believes that every child deserves a champion, an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists they become the best they can possibly be.
She is highly committed to transforming the pupils of Satrop Schools into children with high sense of responsibility and a consciousness that their nation awaits them as her future leaders.
The after school hours Free Learning Support in the school has contributed greatly in bringing out the best in each child as well as add to the academic growth of the school.
Mrs. Bolanle Ojo is humble, charming, amiable and a God fearing woman whose love for God knows no bounds. She has founded an NGO named ‘Joy of Many Generations Foundation’ which is dedicated to empowering teenage girls and young women to be self-sufficient and become agents of change themselves. She strongly believes that by educating and empowering a woman, you educate a generation.
Her hobbies are reading, working with children and the youth, teaching and mentoring, listening to music and dancing. She is blessed with two loving and caring daughters.
It is in recognition of her contribution to national development in the sphere of Management, Development and Delivery of Quality Education that Mrs. Bolanle Olubusola Ojo is deemed worthy to be conferred with the Woman of Merit Gold Award.
