Mrs. Boroji Osindero is a qualified physiotherapist with over 20 years’ work experience in her field. She graduated from the University of Birmingham, England in 1998. She has an extensive range of clinical and administrative experience through her various work experience.
She started her career as a physiotherapist at Ipswich General Hospital, England and thereafter relocated to the United States to continue her career in Physical Therapy. In 2004, she was employed by Tender Touch Health Care Services in New Jersey, as the Director of Rehabilitation for their 22 bed Nursing Facility, where she served as a treating physiotherapist, administering care to its aged population while also managing a team of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists. During this time, she also completed her MBA in 2008 with special concentration in Marketing from Rutgers University.
In December 2009, Mrs. Osindero relocated to Lagos, Nigeria and established her first rehabilitation facility – Wellpath Physiotherapy and Wellness Ltd. It is a one stop rehabilitation facility providing physical therapy services, occupational therapy, speech therapy and the sale of home medical supplies. In 2015, Wellpath opened a second facility in Lekki which offers not only outpatient care but also inpatient facilities.
Mrs Osindero is a member of the Lagos State Sport Medicine Board.
She is a recipient of the “Best Female Physiotherapist” Award 2017, given by the Lagos Physiotherapists Association and the winner of NHEA Award 2018 for “Best Physical Therapy Practice”. She engages in many community activities, one of which is to serve as a member of St. Saviours School Ikoyi PTA and supporting the Lagos State Marathon and Lagos State Kids Marathon.
Mrs. Osindero is married and is a mother of three children.
It is in recognition of her contribution to national development in the field of Physiotherapy and Medical Rehabilitation Services that Mrs. Boroji Osindero is deemed worthy to be conferred with the Woman of Merit Gold Award.
