The leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have protested against the rising spate of insecurity in Nigeria. They also protested the judgement of the Supreme Court which sacked Emeka Ihedioha as the governor of Imo state.
Their protests were staged at the embassies of the United States and the United Kingdom.
The protesters included members of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC), Board of Trustees (BoT) and the National Assembly, among others.
The National Chairman of the party, Uche Secondus, said they went there to present protest papers to the embassies.
He also said that President Muhammadu Buhari has lost control of the security of the nation and should therefore resign.
