Founder of DAAR Communications Plc,Raymond Dokpesi has tested positive for coronavirus.
This was disclosed in a report by a subsidiary of his company, AIT.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) conducted tests on the Dokpesi family and results showed eight of them had contracted the disease.
It was earlier in the week reported that his son Raymond Dokpesi Jnr. had tested positive to the virus.
The infected members have been reportedly evacuated to the isolation centre at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada.
“I am of quite ok. I feel very well,” he was quoted to have said.
Tests have also been reportedly extended to senior staffers who had been in close contact with the company’s index case.
The report said the headquarters of DAAR Communications at Kpaduma hills in Asokoro, Abuja, has been decontaminated.
