The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control via its official twitter handle has reported 403 new cases of the COVID-19 virus in Nigeria.

The latest figure brings the total number of cases in the West African nation to 16,085.

5,220 patients have successfully recovered and have been discharged while 420 deaths have been recorded.
