The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 404 new cases of COVID-19 wiithin 24 hours.
This brings the total number of recorded COVID-19 cases in the country to 42,208.
In a tweet on Wednesday night, the NCDC also said that 19,004 cases have been discharged while 873 deaths have been recorded.
Lagos which is the epicentre of infections in the country had 106 new cases, FCT -54, Rivers – 48, Plateau – 40, Edo – 29, Enugu – 20, Oyo – 20, Kano -18, Ondo – 15, Ogun -10, Ebonyi – 9, Ekiti- 8, Kaduna – 6, Cross River – 5, Kwara – 4, Anambra, Delta – 3, Imo and Nasarawa – 2 and Borno – 1.
