Mr Mike Oluseun Igbodipe has over three decades post-graduate experience in security practice and management.
He served in the State Security Service (SSS) for 13 years and 20 years in Corporate Security Management. All his Post-service years were spent at managerial level while working for multinational companies in various sectors like Telecommunications, Aviation, Oil and Gas and Energy.
Mike was the Managing Director of Proton Security Services, a leading guard company with over 8000 guard force and more than a hundred employees. He also served as the Chief Security Officer at Sahara Power Group (SPG), owners of EgbinPower Plc -the biggest power plant in sub-Sahara Africa. He served at Ikeja Electric and First Independent Power Limited (FIPL) Port Harcourt.
Mike Igbodipe is a TPMA Certified Trainer which is awarded by the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
He is an alumnus of Lagos Business School (LBS) and an award winner of the Director General, SSS, for productivity and exemplary conduct while in the service. He is a Member of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) and Fellow of Nigerian Institute of Security (NIS).
Mike is the Lead Facilitator at Security Skills Development Company (SSDC), a leading security training firm in Nigeria. SSDC has accreditation from Tai Solarin University to offer both Diploma and Certificate courses in Security Management.
Mike is married with children.
It is in recognition of his contribution to national development in the sphere of Training in Security Skills and Security Management that Mr Mike Oluseun Igbodipe was deemed worthy to be conferred with the Development in Nigeria Merit Award which is part of the PSR National Awards.
