Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, narrowly escaped injury after being involved in a minor road accident along the Daura-Katsina highway yesterday evening.
The incident occurred while the governor was on official duty, according to a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed. He confirmed that the governor did not sustain any serious injuries and remains in good health and high spirits.
“Malam Radda is safe and in good condition. He has continued with his engagements as scheduled,” Mohammed stated, adding that there was no cause for alarm.
Governor Radda expressed profound gratitude for what he called divine protection during the incident. He also extended his appreciation to the people of Katsina State and other concerned Nigerians for their prayers and well-wishes.
