Ezinne Dr. (Mrs.) Lawrencia Chinyeaka Etoh is a distinguished education administrator  currently serving as the pioneer Principal of Archangels’ College, Satellite Town, Lagos. A natural achiever with an analytical mind, she is an organized, resourceful go-getter with impeccable written and oral communication skills. Her career spans decades of dedicated service in the education sector, marked by a commitment to organizational excellence and academic growth.

Born on November 29, 1966, Lawrencia Etoh comes from Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State. Her journey in education saw her attending Comprehensive Secondary School, Emekuku, Owerri from 1977 to 1983. Having earned her West African Secondary School Certificate she proceeded to Bishop Lasbery Teachers’ Training College, Irete, Owerri in 1983. In 1985, she came out with a Teachers Grade II Certificate. 

 Her academic brilliance soon earned her a celebrity status at the Lagos State College of Education Ijanikin. There she bagged her National Certificate in Education (NCE) in 1995 with a Distinction and as Best Graduating Student.

Her thirst for academic attainment took her further to Lagos State University (LASU). There she was conferred with a Bachelor of Science (Biology/Education) degree, graduating in Second Class Upper Division.

This woman of great learning today posseses three postgraduate degrees from LASU: a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing, a Master of Educational Administration (M.Ed.), and a Ph.D. in Educational Administration. She is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).

Dr. Lawrencia Etoh’s extensive work experience is as interesting as it is engaging and it is reflected in her  distinguished leadership roles in school management. She has served as the pioneer Principal of Archangels’ College, Satellite Town, Lagos since 2012. Here she oversees the planning and implementation of academic, social, and corporate programmes. Her responsibilities include motivating teachers and students for optimal performance, supporting the Administrator on policy and financial matters, and serving as Secretary to the Governing Council. She also diligently supervises all internal and external examinations in the school.

Prior to this role, she spent two decades at Loral International Schools Organisation also in the Lagos area (1992–2012) as Head Teacher and School Administrator. Earlier in her career, she worked as a School Supervisor and Economics Teacher at Centric Commercial College Lagos (1988–1990).

Ezinne Etoh is the Chairman and Managing Director of MARCJANET Educational Consult and an active member of several faith-based and community development groups. She serves in the Pro-Life Unit of the Catholic Church, works as a Marriage Animator, and contributes to humanitarian initiatives as a member of the Justice, Development and Peace Commission (JDPC). Dr. Etoh is happily married to Mr. Boniface Uche Etoh (FCA), and together they are blessed with wonderful, caring children who continue to enrich and inspire her life’s work.

Her dedication to setting high standards, managing complex administrative systems, and fostering a productive academic environment is a testament to her mastery of educational development and delivery.

It was in recognition of her accomplishments and contribution to national development in the sphere of Development, Management and Delivery of Quality Education that Ezinne Dr. (Mrs.) Lawrencia Chinyeaka Etoh was deemed worthy to be conferred with the Woman of Merit Gold Award.
