Mrs. Bukola Odoe is an exceptionally brilliant lawyer and a highly resourceful public servant. She has a record of distinguished leadership across law, policy and infrastructure development. She currently serves as the Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Public-Private Partnership. Here she plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives that drive sustainable infrastructure and social advancement.
In Lagos State, Mrs. Odoe has led landmark projects including the Red Line Metro Rail Mass Transit system, the Smart Health Information Platform (SHIP), and the deployment of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses for mass transit—initiatives which have significantly improved public service delivery and catalyzed economic growth in the state.
Bukola Odoe holds an LL.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University Law Centre and is admitted to practice in New York, England & Wales, Nigeria, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Her legal expertise spans over two decades and multiple jurisdictions, including the United States, United Kingdom and Nigeria. She is the Founder and Managing Partner of Temple Bridge Barristers & Solicitors, a commercial law firm that advises domestic and international clients on regulatory strategy, complex transactions, and financial sector reforms. Her firm has supported significant acquisitions and divestitures in banking and finance, and has provided legal and regulatory support to Sub-Saharan Africa’s first debt-focused over-the-counter market.
Mrs. Odoe previously served as General Counsel to the Executive Governor of Lagos State, where she advised on high-stakes governance and emergency response efforts, notably during the COVID-19 pandemic. She was instrumental in the establishment of the Rebuild Lagos Trust Fund and other institutional frameworks for recovery and reform.
Earlier in her career, she practiced at leading institutions including 3 Verulam Buildings (UK), Olaniwun Ajayi LP (Nigeria), and the Investment Adviser Association (USA). She also held policy and communications roles in the US House of Representatives and Senate, bringing a global policy perspective to her legal work.
