Mrs. Mojisola Opebiyi is an award-winning professional with over 24 years of distinguished experience across Nigeria’s key sectors, including Food & Commodities, Hospitality, Agriculture,  Transport, Manufacturing and Banking. Renowned for her in-depth expertise in Corporate Governance, Financial Management, Risk Management, People Management, Financial Analysis, Negotiations, Business Development, and Strategic Management, she has driven transformative growth in microfinance and corporate banking. As Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bowen Microfinance Bank since April 2021—having joined as pioneer Head of Operations in 2011—she has elevated the institution to new heights of operational excellence and community impact.

Mrs. Opebiyi’s professional foundation is built on robust academic credentials and specialized certifications. She holds a Bachelor’s degree and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Ilorin, complemented by certifications as Certified Expert in Microfinance (CEM) from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Germany; Certified Banker (MCIB) from the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN); Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Administration (FICA); Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Loans and Risk Management of Nigeria (FCILRM); Associate of the Risk Managers Association of Nigeria (RIMAN); and Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). An alumnus of Lagos Business School, she is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration. Her global training includes programs at The Microfinance Association-UK and Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Germany.

Her extensive work experience demonstrates her versatility and rise through the ranks. She gained early experience in organizations like the Ministry of Agriculture, the UAC Group, and other private firms before making her mark in the banking sector at First Atlantic Bank (now FCMB) and Bank PHB (now Keystone Bank), where she led in the Marketing and Operations departments. Prior to her current role, she also co-founded AGN Integrated Services Limited as pioneer Director of Operations, specializing in freight logistics. A dynamic speaker, trainer, writer, facilitator, and mentor—particularly for women empowerment—Mrs. Opebiyi serves as Public Relations Officer of the National Association of Microfinance Banks, Lagos State Chapter.
