Mrs. Olubunmi Anuoluwapo Odubanjo-Bayonle is a visionary educator and seasoned corporate executive whose career transition from banking to education has profoundly impacted the quality of early childhood learning in Nigeria. As the Proprietress of Alpha’s Choice Montessori School, Ikorodu, Lagos State, she comes across as a beacon of excellence in early childhood education. She has successfully translated decades of professional excellence and managerial discipline into creating a thriving educational outfit.

Her professional journey began at First Bank, where she spent decades of exemplary service, rising through various roles to retire honorably as a Deputy Manager. This extensive corporate background provided her with invaluable experience in school operations, financial planning, organizational management, strategic planning, and business sustainability. Guided by her passion for education and a divine sense of purpose, Mrs. Odubanjo-Bayonle founded Alpha’s Choice Montessori School in 2011 to contribute meaningfully to enhancing quality education in Nigeria.

Mrs. Odubanjo-Bayonle holds an HND and a PGD in Marketing and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (Part I). A relentless pursuit of knowledge and professional development has marked her educational transition. She has participated in numerous specialized training sessions, workshops, and education conferences, including University of Pretoria, Faculty of Education (South Africa) for advanced educational methodologies; Cambridge University (UK) international education conference; EBility for special needs education training; Creative Minded Educators (CME) for innovative teaching approaches; and Microsoft Education for digital skills in 21st-century teaching. She actively engages in educational platforms that foster growth, collaboration, and innovation, ensuring she remains at the forefront of best practices in education. In 2024, she was a recipient of the prestigious Woman of Merit Gold Award by People & Power.
