Mrs. Oluwaronke Oyindamola Fatunase is a seasoned educator, visionary school leader and a veritable asset to early childhood education in Nigeria. Renowned for her exceptional commitment to foundational learning, she has built a legacy rooted in excellence, discipline, and child-centred innovation.

As the Founder and Proprietor of Reading Rainbow Preparatory School, Ikorodu, Lagos State, she has transformed the institution into a nurturing, high-performing learning environment that continues to shape confident, curious, and well-rounded young learners.

Oluwaronke Fatunase earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the former Ondo State University (now the University of Ado-Ekiti) in 1998. After a successful career in the oil and gas sector, she felt a divine nudge—guided by her love for children and the prompting of the Holy Spirit—to transition fully into education. This led to the establishment of Reading Rainbow Preparatory School, a centre of excellence in Lagos State.

Deeply committed to lifelong learning, she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Management from the University of Lagos in 2018, followed by a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Montreal, Canada, in 2022. She has further strengthened her expertise through professional trainings, seminars, and international conferences across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States, ensuring that her leadership remains aligned with modern global standards in pedagogy, school management, and curriculum development.

Admired for her integrity, work ethic, and uncompromising pursuit of quality, Mrs. Fatunase has institutionalised strong systems for teacher development, curriculum enhancement, and value-driven education. Under her guidance, Reading Rainbow has become a model for blended learning—integrating academic rigour, creativity, moral instruction, and 21st-century skills in ways that empower both learners and teachers.

Oluwaronke is happily married to Mr. Ayotunde Fatunase and their union is blessed with children. In 2024 she was honoured with the prestigious People & Power’s Woman of Merit Gold Award, recognising her exceptional contribution to the development, management and delivery of  quality education.

It was in recognition og her Sterling Contribution to Nation Building in the Sphere of Education that Mrs. Oluwaronke Oyindamola Fatunase was deemed worthy to be conferred with the Nigerian Achievement Award.
