President Donald Trump has signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act, obligating the U.S. Department of Justice to publicly release unclassified records connected to Jeffrey Epstein within 30 days.

The newly enacted law mandates that the DOJ publish all non-classified documents, communications, and investigative materials related to Epstein, including travel logs, detention records, and documents referencing his associate Ghislaine Maxwell. Certain information may be redacted — such as the identities of victims, details of ongoing investigations, or material that could pose national security risks. However, the bill prohibits withholding documents simply because they could be embarrassing, politically sensitive, or damaging to reputations.

The law was passed by overwhelming support in Congress and takes effect immediately, giving the DOJ a 30-day window to publish the documents.
