Rev. (Mrs.) Josephine Ngozi Anunobi is a highly accomplished educational administrator, faith leader and dedicated community builder. Her life is defined by service, faith, and a profound commitment to educational excellence.
As the Founder of Divine Offspring International School, Ikeja, Lagos and the newly launched Divine Offspring High School, she is a veritable asset to education in Nigeria, consistently offering character-based learning.
Mrs. Anunobi’s academic background is highly impressive and directly supports her dual roles in education and Christian ministry. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), all obtained from the University of Lagos (UNILAG). This combination of training in business management, education theory and teaching methodology has been instrumental in the effective management and growth of her schools.
In 1997, driven by a vision to instill strong values alongside academic knowledge, Rev. Anunobi founded Divine Offspring International School. Building on its success, she expanded her vision to secondary education with the launch of Divine Offspring High School in 2024. This expansion reflects her deep-seated commitment to guiding children through their formative years into responsible adulthood.
Beyond her administrative roles, Mrs. Anunobi is a dedicated philanthropist and community leader. She established the Ngozi Anunobi Education Foundation to provide critical support to underprivileged children through scholarships and educational resources. Furthermore, she is an active member of the Rotary Club, contributing to various community development projects.
Rev. Anunobi also serves as a co-lead pastor in New Birth Ministries International and leads The Amazing Women of Impact (TAWII), a widely impactful prayer forum dedicated to strengthening homes, marriages, and parenting. The forum’s undiluted teachings—which emphasize creating a peaceful, faith-filled home environment, promoting Godly attitudes in marriage, and teaching forgiveness and conflict resolution—have led to a yearly widespread seminar/workshop on marriage, parenting, and faith-based home building. She is a devoted wife to Bishop Francis Chijioke Anunobi and a mother of seven children.
Rev. Josephine Ngozi Anunobi’s passion for education is immeasurable. Her efforts focus on establishing and scaling institutions that deliver character-based, quality education, while simultaneously championing community and family well-being through faith and philanthropy. Her unwavering dedication inspires transformative change in the educational and social sectors.
It was in recognition of her accomplishments and contribution to national development in the sphere of Development, Management and Delivery of Quality Education that Rev. (Mrs.) Josephine Ngozi Anunobi was deemed worthy to be conferred with the Woman of Merit Gold Award.
