The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has reported N60.517 trillion in revenue and N5.760 trillion profit after tax in 2025, with N14.706 trillion remitted to the Federation Account.
The figures, contained in its December 2025 Monthly Report Summary, show improved performance compared to 2024, when revenue stood at N45.1 trillion and profit at N5.4 trillion.
NNPC attributed the growth to higher crude and gas production, improved pipeline availability, and stronger retail operations. Upstream pipeline availability reached 100 per cent in the second half of the year.
Crude and condensate production peaked at 1.77 million barrels per day, while gas output averaged over 6,600 mmscfd. Commercial gas sales and crude volumes also recorded steady gains.
Infrastructure projects progressed, with the OB3 pipeline 96 per cent complete and the AKK pipeline at 91 per cent.
The company said the strong performance reflects improved asset reliability and is expected to support growth in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
