The Nigerian Senate has confirmed the nomination of Rabe Darma as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, following his screening on the floor of the upper chamber.
The confirmation followed a request by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which was read during plenary by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
After the screening exercise, lawmakers approved the nomination through a voice vote, clearing Darma for appointment into the Federal Executive Council.
