The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has expanded its free petroleum products delivery initiative to Kano, Imo, Anambra and Nasarawa states in a move aimed at reducing distribution costs and supporting lower petrol prices.

The scheme, which already covers Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, Kaduna, Abuja and Delta, allows the refinery to absorb delivery costs, reducing the financial and logistical burden on petroleum marketers.

Dangote Industries’ Group Executive Director, Fatima Aliko Dangote, said the initiative would improve distribution efficiency and enable savings to reach consumers.

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) welcomed the expansion, saying it would improve marketers’ cash flow, reduce logistical challenges and create room for more competitive fuel prices.
