Sensitive materials for Saturday’s Osun State governorship election have arrived at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in Osogbo ahead of their distribution to the state’s 30 local government areas.
The materials arrived at about 8:30 p.m. on Thursday under the supervision of officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies.
Buses were stationed outside the CBN premises to transport the materials to designated locations, while officials were seen offloading them from the vehicles.
The materials are expected to be distributed to the various local government areas ahead of Saturday’s election.
