Engr. (Mrs) Shirley Uloma Ifeanyi (MSc., B.Eng., AMIChemE) is the highly resourceful Founder and Director of The Zoe Gordon Schools located in Agungi, Lekki, Lagos.  An educator and engineer, Mrs. Ifeanyi’s passion for learning and child development has greatly contributed to the transformation of  education in Nigeria. Under her leadership, the school has become  a centre of excellence in early childhood and primary education.

She obtained a Diploma in Chemistry Education at the University of Lagos, followed by a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Chemical and Process Engineering from London South Bank University. She later earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick, which further shaped her educational vision.

Engr. Shirley’s qualifications, combined with technical expertise and managerial insight, have enabled her to design and implement a distinctive educational framework at The Zoe Gordon Schools. The school integrates the British curriculum with carefully selected aspects of the Nigerian curriculum, enriched by Montessori principles for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This balanced approach ensures pupils benefit from internationally benchmarked learning while remaining deeply connected to local values and cultural identity. Operating from two facilities, The Zoe Gordon Schools have become a hub for academic excellence, creativity, and holistic child development.

Beyond education, Mrs Ifeanyi’s compassion and impartial dedication to service are evident in her role as Founder of the Uloma Dike Foundation, a charitable organisation committed to supporting vulnerable individuals and communities in need.

Alongside her educational achievements, Ms Ifeanyi is also a respected figure in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry. She serves as the Managing Director of Zoe Gordon & Co. Limited, an indigenous oil and gas company specialising in marine logistics, procurement solutions, EPCI, petroleum product delivery and storage. With over six years of progressive leadership in the sector, she has built strategic partnerships, driven innovation, and positioned the company as a trusted player in the industry.

A devoted mother, wife, and entrepreneur, Mrs Ifeanyi exemplifies versatility and excellence across multiple fields. Her impartial dedication to education and service makes her a worthy recipient of an honorary award, celebrating a legacy of growth, creativity, and achievement.
