Mrs. Yvonne Ige is a financial technology and payments professional with over 15 years of experience driving business growth, digital transformation, strategic partnerships and payment innovation across Nigeria’s technology and financial services ecosystem.

She is currently a senior leader at the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Plc (NIBSS), where she has played a significant role in strengthening strategic partnerships and advancing the adoption and growth of innovative payment solutions across Nigeria. In her capacity, she works closely with leading fintechs, banks, payment service providers and other ecosystem stakeholders, helping to accelerate the deployment and adoption of digital payment infrastructure that supports Nigeria’s increasingly cashless economy.

Before joining NIBSS, Mrs. Ige held senior leadership positions at Appzone/Qore, where she was instrumental in driving go-to-market strategies, expanding financial technology solutions into African markets and building strategic partnerships within the banking ecosystem.

Yvonne’s career is distinguished by her ability to bridge the worlds of technology, finance, business strategy and partnerships. She has consistently demonstrated that sustainable fintech growth requires not only innovative technology, but also strong collaboration among banks, fintechs, payment providers, regulators and other ecosystem participants.

Her contribution to Nigeria’s payment ecosystem extends beyond commercial performance. She has been actively involved in initiatives supporting the development, adoption and expansion of payment infrastructure and digital financial services, helping businesses and consumers benefit from faster, more accessible and more efficient electronic payments.

A graduate of Finance from Oral Roberts University, where she graduated Cum Laude,  Yvonne Ige also holds a Master’s degree in International Business, Energy and Petroleum from the University of Aberdeen. She has further strengthened her expertise in product strategy and agile leadership through executive education at the Kellogg School of Management and professional certification as a Professional Scrum Master (PSM). She is also a  Professional Management Professional, PMP.
