Pharm. Chioma Omattah is the visionary Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Welnex Pharmacy, a fast-growing retail pharmacy chain based in Lagos, Nigeria. With over 15 years of dedicated experience in community pharmacy practice, she has built a reputation for earning patient trust, elevating the public perception of community pharmacists, and delivering exceptional healthcare services. She achieves this through personalized patient care and strategic collaborations with healthcare colleagues and pharmaceutical companies.

Chioma Omattah holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and a Master of Science in Clinical Pharmacy from the University of Lagos. Her expertise spans clinical pharmacy, pharmacovigilance, Good Distribution Practice (GDP), digital healthcare services and supply chain management, combining strong clinical knowledge with a commitment to medication safety, quality assurance, and efficient healthcare delivery. In her clinical practice, she is especially passionate about female reproductive health and fertility. Committed to continuous growth, she regularly attends conferences, masterclasses, and seminars both locally and internationally to sharpen her skills both as a Clinical Pharmacist and an entrepreneur.

A strong advocate for community well-being, Pharm. Omattah is actively involved in public health advocacy on topical health conditions, most prominently, antimicrobial resistance (AMR) awareness campaigns as well as anti-drug abuse campaigns in secondary schools across Lagos. She is deeply passionate about upholding high ethical practice standards, fostering collaboration between community pharmacists, other healthcare providers, and advancing the practice of community pharmacy throughout Nigeria.

She is a member of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) and an active leader within the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN), where she currently serves as the Zonal Coordinator for the ACPN Lagos-Ejigbo Zone and the Editor-in-Chief for the Lagos State branch.

Pharm. Chioma Omattah is married to Samson Omattah and blessed with two exceptional children.
