The embattled senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Dino Melaye has finally surrendered himself to the Nigeria Police after eight days of police siege on his Abuja residence.
An Abuja high court had on Thursday refused an ex-parte application brought by the lawmaker to order the removal of the police blockade on his residence.
Melaye, some of his colleagues at the Senate and supporters who had come to his house to show him solidarity were seen heading to the Police Force headquarters at the time of filing this report.
