Nigeria on Monday recorded 132 fresh cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 56,388.
The latest figures were disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its official twitter handle on Monday night:

44,337 people have successfully been treated and recovered. 1,083 deaths have been recorded in the country.
About 28,918,900 cases have been confirmed globally with 922,252 confirmed deaths.
