Mrs. Juliana Omolara Imoowo is a highly resourceful, creative and exceptional caterer. She is the Managing Director of Sumptuous Meals Limited, a fledgling company with vested interests in industrial and corporate catering, guest house management and quick service restaurants with outlets all over Nigeria and the United States of America. Sumptuous Meals Limited is a member of the Sumptuous Meals Group.
An economist from the University of Ibadan, she is a Fellow of Vital Voices Global Partnership (VVGROW), (USA); Mentee, Cherie Blaire Foundation for Women (UK) and Member, International Caterers Association (USA). Her achievements in the areas of catering and restaurant services recently earned her PSR Magazine’s Woman of Merit Gold Award.
Lara is a holder of several certificates in catering with a strong bias for cakes and confectioneries. She has initiated and co-initiated several projects under the auspices of multinationals including CITI Bank Nigeria and Unilever Nigeria. As a public speaker, she has spoken at several seminars and workshops on entrepreneurial skills and leading small businesses.
Beyond management and catering, she is an avowed change agent, youth leader and tireless coach with a strong resolve to help shape the destinies of young people through one-on-one mentoring and role modelling so that they can positively impact their generation. Today’s young people have in her, a shoulder to lean on, and a dependable ally in confronting life’s issues. She leads in several capacities in The Redeemed Evangelical Mission International Headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria.
Lara believes in gender equality and the maximization of ‘feminine potential’ because when you train and empower a woman, you have trained and empowered a nation.
Married to Boniface Mathias Imoowo, Executive Chairman/CEO of Sumptuous Meals Limited, they are blessed with two adorable children.
