President Muhammadu Buhari has made Mr. Ben Akabueze, until now, his Special Adviser on Planning, Director General of the Budget Office of the Federation. The President also announced Mr. Tijani Mohammed Abdullahi who was the Director General of the Budget Office as his new Special Adviser on Planning.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Fem Adesina, said in a statement today that the redeployment of both men was “part of an ongoing exercise aimed at further repositioning the ministry to effectively deliver on its core mandate.”
Akabueze and Abdullahi were appointed into the Buhari government in February this year.
