Mrs. Yetunde Adenuga is a woman of excellence. She exhibits the uncommon attributes of hardwork, humility and uprightness. She is an insurance professional with almost three decades of experience. She is an authority in insurance underwriting and marketing. She is currently, Head, Technical at Unitrust Insurance Company, Ltd.

Yetunde is the daughter of the late Engr. Rev. & Rev. Mrs. Popoola Odusami of Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. Her academic qualifications include HND (Insurance) and MBA (Marketing). She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN), the Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (ACIMN) and Fellow, Institute of Private Detectives and Investigators of Nigeria (FPDIN).

Her first taste of insurance work dates back to 1989 at Guinea Insurance Company. She worked at Phoenix of Nigeria Assurance Plc, where she rose to become an Underwriting Manager in 1998. She was a member of the team of professionals who put structures in place and re-engineered the fortunes of several corporate organization including WAPIC and Guaranty Trust Assurance Plc. She joined Unitrust Insurance Company in 2007. Her high professional standing and track record of effectiveness have no doubt put her in good stead to champion the restructuring and re-positioning of the company.

Mrs. Adenuga believes in training young professionals who would grow to steer the ship of the insurance industry to greater heights. She has attended several courses and training workshop including Oil & Gas Insurance Course at Marsh Training Programme in London and the Engineering Insurance Course at Munich Re, Johannesburg, South Africa.

A further proof of her professional mettle is in her current position of President, Professional Insurance Ladies Association, PILA. She is former Secretary to the Accident Office Committee of the Nigeria Insurers Association. She was  involved in the editing of the book titled Woman of Valour in the Vine Yard.

Yetunde Adenuga is married and blessed with three children. Her hobbies include cooking, charity work, mentoring and engaging in spiritual research. In the year 2010, she was honoured by PSR Magazine with the Woman of Merit Gold Award for her contribution to national development in the area of insurance.
