He is a legal luminary whose profile is on the rise. He represents the new generation of vibrant Nigerian lawyers who are breaking new grounds and extending the frontiers of the legal profession.

Barrister Moses Adebisi Ofeoshi is a distinguished professional and a gentleman to the core. He has plied the wig and gown trade for the past 22 years. Today, he runs one of the most notable law firms in the Federal Capital City of Abuja namely M.A. Ofeoshi & Co. This outfit has retainership with several local and international organisations.

There is indeed more to the personality of this legal luminary of our time who is also a religious minister. Ofeoshi runs a church named Kingdom Envoys Ministry which has been conducting night vigil sessions every week for Christians and members of different denominations since 2005. He has also conducted several ministerial activities, crusades and religious seminars in several cities across Nigeria.

Born on July 21, 1965, he hails from Atte in Akoko Edo Local Government Area of Edo State. Moses Ofeoshi obtained the Primary School Leaving Certificate from Okumagbe Primary School, Atte in 1975. He also attended Ojoku Grammar School, Offa, Kwara State where he earned the West African School Certificate in 1984. He graduated with the L.L.B (Hons) from the then Bendel State University, Ekpoma in 1990. Afterwards he attended the Nigerian Law School and eventually bagged the qualification of Barrister-at-Law (BL) in 1991.

Ofeoshi performed the National Youth Service as a lecturer at The Polytechnic Calabar between 1991 and 1992. Before he floated his own law firm, he had worked as a Junior Counsel at Awoshika & Awoshika in Lagos and Noragbon Osakwe & Co., Benin City. Between 1994 and 1996, he worked as Partner in three different law firms namely Aliyu Momoh & Co, Abuja; Uye Ogedegbe & Co, Abuja and Dr Oladebo & Co, Abuja. He was at Agbonika & Agbonika Law Firm, Gwagwalada, Abuja between 1996 and 1998. He functioned as a Partner at F.A. Alimikhena & Co. in 2005.

His private law firm was incorporated in 2002. Today, it boasts a partnership of seven lawyers and an array of associate solicitors. It also runs a partnership deal with other distinguished law chambers.

He is actively involved in the politics of his native Edo State. Although he is based in Abuja, he is passionate about activities that would bring social and economic development to his hometown of Atte, Akoko Edo.

He is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Christian Association of Nigeria and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria. Ofeoshi’s major forte is in litigation, legal drafting, legal negotiations and motivational speaking. In November, 2013, he was honoured with the Development in Nigeria Merit Award.He has also been honoured by PSR with The Grand Award for Productivity in Africa.

He is married to Mrs. Grace Ofeoshi with three children namely Stephanie, Sarah and Rehoboth.
