Pastor Jumbo Ogechi is an Abia State indigene born in Lagos. He had his primary and secondary education in Abia State. His University education was however in Lagos.

Jumbo Ogechi holds a masters degree in Marketing Communications. He is a member of professional bodies such as the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations. He also holds a doctorate degree in Theology from a Christian Bible institute in Lagos.

Before his call to ministry, Pastor Ogechi published the Masses Voice Newspaper, Christian Newsweek Magazine and was a regular contributor to Radio Nigeria 2 early morning programme, “Early Bells”. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Jumbo & Row Communications Company.

In the course of his ministerial work, Pastor Jumbo Ogechi has travelled through the length and breadth of Nigeria visiting local communities with his revival and deliverance programmes. His book, Release Of Captured Souls, has sold over 10,000 copies.

A special programme initiated by Pastor Jumbo Ogechi tagged “Hope for the Hopeless” has trained over 15 young Nigerians who had no hope but today are established entrepreneurs. His annual programme, Widows’ Mite, yearly attends to the needs of more than 200 widows.

A crusader of women emancipation, Ogechi supports and believes that a woman president shall emerge in Nigerian in the next 10 years. Perhaps, this has informed his establishment of the biannual awards for excelling women called Pillar of Support Awards.

 An anointed and humble servant of God, a Development in Nigeria Merit Awards recipient who has also been honoured with The Grand Award for Productivity in Africa, a strong force in human development and a good Christian, Jumbo Ogechi is the Senior Pastor of International House of Salvation Prayer Ministries, Igando.
