
A CBS News survey released this Monday has shown Hilary Clinton leading Donald Trump by as much as 9 points across the United States.
Clinton is leading by 47 percent to Trump’s 38 percent. Gary Johnson, the Libertarian presidential nominee has 8 percent while the Green Party’s candidate, Jill Stein is at 3 percent. Two percent of those polled were undecided.
Sixty-three percent of Americans who were surveyed believed Clinton will win the presidency come November no matter which candidate they supported. Those who thought Trump would win were 26 percent.
Two weeks ago, CBS News’ survey had Hilary Clinton leading Donald Trump by only 4 points. Then, the former had 45 percent while the latter had 41. In September, another survey by CBS News had both candidates in a tie with each polling 42 percent.
