President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday thanked Nigerians for their constant prayers and kind wishes for his health.
He expressed his gratitude through his Twitter handle @MBuhari shortly after receiving the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his delegation which included House Speaker,Yakubu Dogara who paid him a visit in London.
The tweet said: “Pleased to receive Senate President Bukola Saraki, Speaker Yakubu Dogara and Senate Leader, Ahmed Lawan.”
“I thanked them for visiting. I’m also grateful to Nigerians, Christians and Muslims alike for their prayers and kind wishes for my health.”
In a related development, Senate President, Bukola Saraki has said there is no cause for alarm as regards the health status of President Mohammadu Buhari.
The assurance is apparently meant to douse the fears and apprehensions of millions of Nigerians over the uncertainties surrounding the President’s prolonged medical leave to the United Kingdom.
