
Nigerian business magnate, Ahmadu Chanchangi has died at the age of 87. He died this Wednesday morning along the Kaduna—Abuja Highway while being driven to an Abuja Hospital for treatment.
Chanchangi was mostly known across Nigeria as the proprietor of Chanchangi Airlines which was a dominant player in the country’s aviation industry for over a decade. He was also a notable philanthropist .
Alhaji Ahmadu Chanchangi lived most of his life in the city of Kaduna although his roots were in Taraba State.
Survived by three wives and 33 children, he was laid to rest at the Bashama Road Cemetery in Kaduna on Wednesday afternoon.
