Scotland-born tennis star, Andy Murray who got married to his wife, Kim in 2015 has welcomed a second daughter, a year after their first child, Sophia was born.
The new child was born in a hospital in England a few days after Andy welcomed his friend and tennis great, Roger Federer to the Glasgow SSE Hydro Centre in Scotland for the first time to compete in his annual charity event.
Andy and his wife had in July, shortly before the start of the Wimbledon Open, announced that they were expecting another child.
Andy’s grandmother, Shirley Erskine said the entire members of both families were delighted about the arrival of the new born baby whom she said would be a playmate for her elder sister.
“All the family is delighted. I’m delighted of course, another great-grand daughter and hopefully another little playmate for big sister, Sophia,” Mrs. Erskine said.
