Super Eagles of Nigeria will trade tackles with Europa League Champions, Spain’s Atletico Madrid in a friendly match scheduled to be played at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Tuesday, May 22.
Atletico Madrid, who were crowned Europa League Champions after a dominant 3-0 thrashing of French side, Marseille in Lyon on Wednesday night will be visiting the African continent for the first time to face a Super Eagles team consisting mainly of home-based players.
The historic contest will take place thanks to SuperSport, Spain’s La Liga’s official broadcaster in most African countries and prominent video entertainment company, MultiChoice.
