Dr Omowunmi Olatunji is a first-rate environment and safety practitioner. She has put well over two decades into her calling. She is the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Brightest Hope Group of Companies.

Omowunmi Olatunji has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Sciences (1995), a Masters in Environmental Management (2002) and a Doctorate degree in Environmental Management Studies (2017).

In addition to these, she has an International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (Dip. OH&S NEBOSH). She even has professional certificates in Marketing from the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria.

She is a member of the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN), the Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM) and the Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria (MICCN).

Dr Olatunji worked with the National Petroleum Investment Management Services (NAPIMS) which is a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) before moving to the private sector.

She worked with Probi – Nigeria Engineering Consulting Services where she rose to the position of Managing Partner/Consultant of the company in the year 2001.

These past 23 years however, her work has essentially been about Environmental, Occupational Health and Industrial Safety Studies. She has been doing Environmental Engineering Projects and she has co-ordinated a lot of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) related jobs.

Omowunmi Olatunji is one of the foundation members of the Lagos Chapter of the Nigerian Environmental Society. She is a three-term National Treasurer of this premier NGO on the environment in Nigeria. She is also the incumbent Vice President of Accredited Lagos State Safety Agents.

Dr Olatunji has several publications in professional journals and newspapers. She has delivered technical papers and lectured in conferences, workshops and seminars within and outside Nigeria.

She was one of the Nigerian delegates to the World Summit On Sustainable Development in Johannesburg, South Africa (a ten-year-interval conference) organized by the World Commission on Environment and Development (WCED) and the United Nations.

Omowunmi, a minister of God is happily married and blessed with children.

It is in consideration of her accomplishments in the field of Environmental Management and Allied Services that Dr (Mrs.) Omowunmi Olatunji is deemed worthy to be conferred with the Woman of Merit Gold Award which is part of the PSR National Awards
