Nigeria on Wednesday recorded 389 new cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
This brings the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country to 8,733.
The new cases were confirmed by the the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Twitter.
