Nigeria has recorded an additional 490 cases of COVID-19 bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the West African country to 24,567.
The latest figures were disclosed by the country’s specialist disease agency, the NCDC.

Nigeria’s commercial hub, Lagos, remains the epicentre of infections in the country with 10,144 confirmed cases, 1,592 recoveries and 126 deaths.
