Dr Oyeleke Ajiboye is a seasoned professional in the environmental engineering and property development industry. He has however also recorded huge successes in many other areas of enterprise. He is an exemplary and passionate leader with a drive to be a positive influence and a leading light in best practices in Nigeria.
This youthful but enigmatic Nigerian was born to the family of Prince Olasunkanmi and Mrs. Omowunmi Ajiboye of Iragbiji in Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State on May 2, 1982.
He holds a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos, an MBA with distinction from Lincoln University, Oakland, California, USA and a Ph.D in Housing and Estate Development. He studied International Commercial Law (LLM) at the University of Salford, Manchester, UK and is a post-doctoral Research Fellow with Monarch Business School, Switzerland in Behavioral Finance.
Ajiboye is an alumnus of the JF Kennedy School of Government where he studied Investment Decision and Behavioral Finance. He is also an alumnus of the Harvard Law School where he studied Leadership and Strategy and is the First Nigerian to complete the Advanced Masters Class in Negotiation, Mediation and Strategy at the school.
Ajiboye is also a Fellow of the Harvard Negotiation Institute; a Fellow of the Joint Centre for Housing Studies, Harvard University USA; Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration of Nigeria (FICA); Fellow, Chartered Institute of Administration (FCIA); Member, Green Building Society, USA and Member, Society of Environmental Engineering, UK. He also shares membership with several other professional bodies in the civil construction and engineering fields.
As a highly sought-after leader, Dr. Oyeleke Ajiboye has impacted thousands of youths and young entrepreneurs. He is known for teaching and sharing practical principles to help young entrepreneurs succeed and become role models in every area of their lives. He seats on the board of various educational and commercial organizations and also has a philanthropic project called “Nurture a Dream”.
The project gives scholarship support to secondary and tertiary school students and it has been running since 2011. He also runs an empowerment program for the youth and the less privileged under the auspices of OAF (Oyeleke Ajiboye Foundation).
In 2016, he developed a passion for social housing and started a research on the remediation of corruption and poor governance on social housing in Nigeria. Some of his writings have been published online, in newspapers and several magazines.
Dr Oyeleke Oyekola Ajiboye is the founder of Efficacy Group (comprising Efficacy Construction Company, Leron Concept Limited (which is into integrated farming and and has an oil plantation), Efficacy Homes UK, Efficacy Homes LLC ( a real estate company in Georgia, USA) and Metro Quarry Limited which is into mining for the built environment.
He is one of the 10 Nigerians Under 40 in Business which is made up of respected and celebrated young CEOs. He is known for his track record of success, hard work, passion for winning, and his desire for positive impact everywhere he finds himself.
He won the Gold Award in the Across Nigeria Outstanding Leaders and Gold Award in the Nigerian Real Estate Practitioners in 2009. He won the Global Leader of Integrity Merit Award in 2013. He was a finalist in the 2010 Business Owners of the Year Award. He was nominated as one of the 10 Most Powerful Nigerians in Business Under 40 by YNaija. He was also nominated as one of the Young African Legends Under 40 in Africa by Ventures Africa. He was also nominated as one of the 50 Outstanding Professionals in Business in 2014.
In his nine years as a business leader, Oyeleke started a real estate company during recession and grew it into a development company which later transformed into a group of companies with his strategic and innovative business principles. Indeed, his success story would make a compelling read any day. He is a winner of the Development In Nigeria Merit Award.
He is a teacher of ethics and corporate governance in business. He actively participates in numerous charity works and training. Oyeleke has always been defined by his love of teaching and commitment to raising leaders.
He enjoys reading and travelling and is happily married to Oluwadamilola Ruth Ajiboye. The union is blessed with a boy and a girl namely Inioluwa and Ireoluwa.
