With over 20 years of practice in Marketing Communications, Tope has continued to make lasting impression on clients and colleagues. She has built a strong reputation as a well-rounded professional driven absolutely by a mission to seek out uncharted territories and grow new businesses into widely respected mammoths.
When she took over DKK, the company was comatose. Under her leadership, DKK has grown in revenue exponentially, which has also resulted in a remarkable growth in the company’s profile and equity.
She is a motivational speaker and a strong believer in building the next generation of women, who will proudly take the centre stage and drive change.
She is a member of the Light House Network, a women empowerment association, where she functions as a mentor. She is also a member of WISCAR, a support organization for young women pursuing their careers.
Her practice has covered some of Nigeria’s biggest advertising agencies and PR firms. From STB McCann to Prima Garnet Ogilvy, from ZK Advertising back to STB McCann, PR Redline and then to DKK, where she is currently the Chief Executive Officer overseeing the Nigeria & Equatorial Guinea operations.
She is a full member of APCON and is currently serving as an Exco of AAAN (Association of Advertising Agencies), where she served as a member of the Publicity Committee for three years. She also serves on the board of some renowned organizations.
Apart from marketing communications, Tope enjoys following trends, listening to music and spending time with her adoring family. She loves broadcasting and it is that interest that paved the way for her to be a part of the creation of Taskaram Fufulde TV, where she is an Investor/Director.
Tope is a board member of the Sickle Cell Advocacy and Management Initiative ( SAMI) ,an NGO dedicated to raising awareness and advocacy for the management and care of people living with sickle cell anaemia.
It was in recognition of her accomplishments in the field of Advertising and Marketing Communication that she was conferred with the Woman of Merit Gold Award which is part of the PSR National Awards in the year 2018.
