Israel Afeare has publicly apologised to DJ Cuppy less than 24 hours after he was issued a letter demanding that he did so if he was to avert a law suit.
Israel, who is an aide to Afro pop star, Davido, apologised over claims he made with regards to the frosty relationship between DJ Cuppy and Zlatan Ibile.
Recall that DJ Cuppy had previously, through her lawyer, demanded a public apology from Israel over claims on social media that she did not pay Zlatan Ibile after their Gelato collaboration.
In a video shared on social media same Thursday, Israel recognized he wasn’t fully aware of the situation before making a “false” claim on it.

“I want to apologise to Cuppy Otedola for my post on her and Zlatan’s issue. I’m very sorry for the embarrassment it has caused you, your person, and your family. Please don’t be offended,” he can be seen saying in the video.
