Dr Omolade Joseph Ayelaje is a medical practitioner with a solid profile in hospital management. These several years, he has proved himself to be an effective manager of human and material resources.

He is the pioneer Medical Director of the ultra – modern Holyfill Hospital which is located in the city of Ikorodu in Lagos State. In this role, Ayelaje who is a consultant family physician, heads the day to day management of the healthcare facility.

Before now, Dr Omolade Ayelaje worked in several hospitals including Good Faith Hospital Surulere, Lagos; St. Theresa’s Hospital, Ikoyi, Lagos and Military Hospital, Ikoyi.

He was engaged by the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) as Medical Officer in 2006. He rose to become a Principal Medical Officer in the year 2016. He was appointed as Medical Director, Comprehensive Health Centre, Ilowo in Ondo State in 2010.

Born on February 14, 1972, Omolade comes from Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State. His early education was at L.A. Primary School, Ikorigho. He also attended Mogonhen High School, Ikorigho.

He thereafter studied Medicine at the University of Calabar where he graduated with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2003. In 2015, he earned a Master’s degree in Public Health from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago – Iwoye.

Dr. Ayelaje has a Leadership in Health Management Certificate of the University of Washington, USA. He is a Fellow of the Association of General Practitioners (FAGP) and a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants. He is also a Certified Management Specialist of the London Graduate School.

Married with children, Ayelaje enjoys making friends, listening to music, reading and politicking.

It is in recognition of his contribution to national development in the field of Human Medicine and Health Facility Management that Dr Omolade Joseph Ayelaje was deemed worthy to be conferred with the Development in Nigeria Merit Award which is part of the 21st PSR National Awards.
