Dr Sharon Peters is an extremely brilliant and qualified physician. Her forte is fertility medicine and she has spent many years rendering expert service in this area. She is today the Clinical Team Lead of Fertilcity Clinic which is located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

Dr Peters is also the Co-founder and Pioneer Physician at the Rose Du Rouge International Initiative, a non-government organization creating awareness and prevention against the ‘global epidemic’ called infertility.

Sharon’s journey into the world of medicine started at the University of Lagos where she qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB.BS) degree. She went on to earn a Certificate in Youth Reproductive Health from John Hopkins School of Public Health in the United States.

She has a Graduate Award in Assisted Reproductive Technology from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom. She is also a Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist of the International School of Endocrinology and Gynaecology, College of Medicine, Montpellier, France.

Dr Sharon Peters  holds a Master’s in Sexual and Reproductive Medicine from South Wales University, United Kingdom.

She is a member of both the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology.

It is in recognition of her contribution to national development in the field of Reproductive and Fertility Medicine that Dr Sharon Peters was deemed worthy to be conferred with the Woman of Merit Gold Award which is part of the PSR National Awards.
