Dr. Philip Chukwudozie Oragui is a rising star in the field of Medicine in Nigeria. His commitment to healthcare delivery led to his establishment of Dove Hospital in the Ajah area of Lagos.
Born in Onitsha Anambra State on May 21, 1976, Dr Oragui is the second child in a family of 9.
He had his primary education at Army Children Primary School Onitsha (1984-1988) and Aguma Primary School, Umuoji, Anambra State in 1989.
His secondary education started at Umuoji Boys High School in 1990 and in 1991, he transferred to Army Day Secondary School where he completed his secondary education.
Philip gained admission into Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe but left in 1998 to study Medicine at Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki.
He graduated in 2006 and moved to Lagos where he worked briefly with the Ministry of Defense at 68 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital, Myhoung Barracks, Yaba, Lagos.
Dr. Oragui worked in a number of private medical settings and obtained several diplomas before establishing Dove Hospital in December 2014. He has undergone various trainings both local and foreign.
He is married to Chief (Barr) Mrs Andromeda Nnanna Oragui, and they have four children.
Dr. Oragui has an Ozo title held from his community of Umuoji in Idemili North Local Government of Anambra State. He is a grassroots person who participates actively in the development of his local community. He is married to Chief (Mrs) Andromeda Nnanna Oragui and they are blessed with four children.
It was in recognition of his contribution to national development in the area of Human Medicine and Health Facility Management in Nigeria that Dr. Philip Chukwudozie Oragui was deemed worthy to be conferred with the Nigerian Achievement Award.
